Sibling Support Group
Having a brother or sister on the spectrum can affect a child in a multitude of ways. They may feel pride, maturity, and love but also embarrassment, resentment, and anger at the same time. These are difficult emotions for children to handle on their own and often they don't get a chance to hang out and share their thoughts and stories with other kids their age who also have siblings on the spectrum and go through the same emotional struggles as them. Please pre-register so we can put same age groups together. These sessions will be run by one of the social coaches who will be able to monitor and lead discussions in a healthy and positive direction.
Register for the entire 6 week session for $50.00 or $10 per individual session. (Fees are to cover any room fees and/or miscellaneous costs for food/beverages/etc. as well as the expertise of the Social Coach who will facilitate conversation)

Share and Connect!
Sometimes moms, dads and spouses need to find a place and time to talk about the challenges in their lives, yet learn to listen and help others in need. This is an opportunity to do so! Come join Coach Rans for an hour of sharing challenges and strategies that work. Coach Rans will be running this group and will lead the discussions toward a healthy and positive direction as well as give needed ASD education ie. ASD strategies, research information, consultative information. (Note: It is not a place to complain about the educational setting/ and/or your school district.)

Persons with High Functioning Autism often have challenges with reading comprehension and written expression. Totally Social recognizes that individuals on the spectrum also tend to have areas of passion or high interest in which they are experts in. Incorporating these topics of fascination with academic areas has proven to be successful in increasing time on task, work completion and synthesizing information. We will also work on your child's specific challenges whether that be organization, scheduling, understanding the importance of homework completion, etc. One on one tutoring sessions are offered to work with individuals at their current level. Specific meeting time and place information will be discussed after you register.
