Are there any good shows to watch then? Thus far, a few Pixar shorts (“Loop” and “Float”) seem to have more positive reactions, as well as more documentary style stories that focus around a real person’s experience (ex. Temple Grandin). However, as of now, it may be one of those things where you may only find the real nitty-gritty truth in the form of self-produced YouTube videos, books, and articles made by real people with autism. We can change this though! The more push towards realistic representation, doing our best to educate people on the flaws of a show, and producing our own content (when the interest and passion is there) can spread the excitement for more relatable content.
